Majagual Copper Gold Project Initial Exploration Results
|Energold Mining Ltd. has received prospecting and surface sample results from the Majagual copper-gold project in the Dominican Republic.|
A 700m long boulder train and limited outcrop sampling returned copper and gold values up to 1.17 grams gold per tonne and 1.97% copper, extending the 750m x 150m geochemical anomaly outlined by Energold in 1996.
The mineralization occurs in veins, fractures, and disseminations in andesites and quartz-feldspar porphyry.
Energold is establishing a 1000m x 1400m grid on the showing on behalf of IMPACT Minerals who is currently spending $150,000 as part of a $1.25 million work commitment over four years to earn a 60% interest in the property.
